This site is run by Elliott D. Paige. I take your privacy seriously and collect as little as I can. This page explains what's gathered, why, and what you can do about it.

Who's responsible?

This website, elliottdpaige.com, is operated by Red Hill Media, LLC, a company registered in the State of Georgia, USA. For any privacy question, you can reach me at hello@elliottdpaige.com.

I welcome readers from the European Union and from anywhere in the world. Where the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you, the rights and protections described below are yours regardless of where this company is based.

What I collect, and why.

If you subscribe, I collect your email address — and your name, if you choose to give it. That's so I can send you the newsletter you signed up for. Nothing more.

If you become a paid member, payments are handled by Stripe. I never see or store your full card details; Stripe processes them directly. I receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the basic billing information needed to manage your subscription.

When you visit, my hosting provider (Ghost) records standard technical information — such as your browser type and general location — for security and to keep the site running. This is ordinary server activity, not tracking.

Analytics and cookies.

I use Metricool to understand how the site is used — which posts are read, roughly how many people visit, and where traffic comes from. Metricool may set cookies and collect usage data to do this. I use this only to improve what I write and how the site works; I don't use it to identify you individually. If you'd rather not be measured, you can block cookies in your browser settings or use a tracker-blocking extension, and the site will work normally.

The legal basis (for EU/EEA readers).

Under the GDPR, I rely on your consent when you subscribe (you can withdraw it anytime by unsubscribing), and on legitimate interest for keeping the site secure, functioning, and for understanding general site usage through analytics.

Who processes your data?

I use a small number of trusted services to run this site: Ghost (hosting and email delivery), Stripe (payments), and Metricool (analytics). These providers process data on my behalf under their own privacy terms. I don't sell your data to anyone, ever, and I don't share it except as needed to run the services above.

Your rights.

You can ask me at any time to: see what data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable form. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter with one click in any email. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@elliottdpaige.com and I'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU/EEA and believe I've mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted to subscribers.
