Having traveled to over 80 countries and hundreds of cities and worked at airports, I've seen a wide range of outfits that travelers choose for their flights. Some choices are puzzling, ranging from almost naked beachwear or knitwear bikini-top to outfits resembling the Michelin Man. Their motivations vary, but I doubt many have anything to do with comfort and practicality.
