Sri Lanka 2006 - Immersing in Culture, Chaos, and Charm

Years ago, I visited this enchanting island, and I really need to return for another visit.

When I boarded my flight to Colombo, Sri Lanka, for a trade policy meeting in 2006, I didn't expect the meeting to be the least memorable part of my trip. Honestly, I couldn't tell you a single detail about that meeting today. Nada! But what I do remember—vividly—is the incredible four-day road trip around Sri Lanka with my driver, Anura, whose stories, insights, and music shaped one of the most unforgettable travel experiences of my life.
